MNOKE PRAIRIE PARKING LOT
HOW TO GET HERE
From the West: Take Interstate 80/94 east to Porter/Burns Harbor exit at Hwy. 20 east. Or take the Indiana Tollway (Chicago Skyway), I-90 east, to Interstate 80/94 east to the above exit.
Once off the interstate, continue east on Hwy. 20 approximately one mile to Mineral Springs Road. Look for other park signs indicating Bailly Homestead/Chellberg Farm. Go north or left on Mineral Springs Road about 1/2 mile to Oak Hill Road. Turn left or west on Oak Hill; go 1/2 mile to Howe Road. Turn left or south on Howe. After another ¾ mile, the parking lot lot lot for Mnoke Prairie will be on the right after you cross a bridge over the Little Calumet River..
From the East: Take Interstate 94 west to Chesterton/Indiana Dunes exit Hwy. 20 going east. Continue east on Hwy. 20 to Mineral Springs Road. Go north or right on Mineral Springs Road about 1/2 mile to Oak Hill Road. Turn left or west on Oak Hill; go 1/2 mile to Howe Road. Turn left or south on Howe. After another 3/4 mile, the camp parking lot for Mnoke Prairie will be on the right after you cross a bridge over the Little Calumet River.
From the South: Take Interstate 65 North to 80/94 east and follow the above directions from the west.
Note: Mineral Springs Road can be accessed from Hwy. 12 east or 20 east.
